Our founders:

You can look, but you simply may not find two cooler or more collected doggie divas out there. With over 20 years combined of professional experience, your pet could hardly want for more capable or loving care when you’re away.

Diane Livoti
of DogTired! Inc.
www.dogtiredpets.com

On any given day over the past 7 years, you might have seen Diane Livoti up in the East Bay hills, running or hiking with a grinning pack of satisfied dogs. Or you might have seen her down at Point Isabel, throwing balls for a pile of eager, scrambling pups. Either way, the consistent theme of Diane’s days has been providing exceptional care for hundreds of the Bay Area’s luckiest dogs when their owners are away. DogTired! Pet Service has been providing dog walking, house calls, and pet sitting serives across the East Bay Area. She and her capable, friendly staff are always ready to serve you and your pets!

DogTired! Inc. has been one of the East Bay Area’s leading pet care service companies since it was founded in 2001. Constantly in high demand, the services DogTired! provides are top-notch, recommended by local veterinarians, pet stores, the East Bay Pet Sitter’s Association, Pet Sitter International, and the National Association of Pet Care Providers.

DogTired! Pet Service officially became Metro Pet Care Service in 2007 with the opening of Metro Dog. Metro Pet Service provides a complete menu of dog walking, pet sitting, and house call services to clients throughout the East Bay Area.

Diane has been a certified canine behavior consultant through the Marin Humane Society since 2002. She has extensive field knowledge of pack behavior and management. This unique expertise is highly utilized at Metro Dog. She understands people, too, having been a public school educator and wilderness professional.

Alison Smith knows dogs.

She knows cats too, and her advice on training, nutrition and pet products is widely respected and sought after by private clients and public institutions alike. You will see her name in places such as the San Francisco Chronicle and on the roster of noted canine behaviorists who speak regularly around the Bay Area.

Alison has worked with organizations such as the East Bay Pet Sitters Association, the East Bay Regional Parks, Citizen Canine, and the Berkeley Dog and Cat Hospital. Alison and Canine Culture are number one on the referrals list of pet stores, veterinarians, animal rescue organizations and pet care professionals throughout the Bay Area.

Canine Culture has provided private behavior coaching and group classes to over 800 Bay Area residents since 1998. Alison's methods rely on the use of positive reinforcement training and mutual understanding to improve your relationship with your pet, rather than on the use of force and fear. The result is a happier, more rewarding relationship for both you and your pet.
