Welcome to the neighborhood! This is
where the big boys and girls stay and play.
All our guests have access to all seven different play yards
on a rotating basis, and are kept company by up to fourteen
other canine friends and a handler. And for your canine companion’s
safety, the Center has staff on duty 24 hours a day. When your
canine companion is not playing with his or her friends,
he/she will have a comfortable, clean room to retire to. Absolutely
no cages! |
day care:
Active adult dogs spend their day circulating the play yards
with a group of friends and a dog handler. They move between
the five indoor & two outdoor play yards. They also have
designated times of rest where they retire to their rooms for
a break in the fun. An opportunity to relax and let their systems
wind down, periodic rest-time is a healthy component of the
day at Metro Dog. |
boarding:
Active adult dogs live in the Village at Metro Dog. Whether
you choose to room your dog in a private Cottage, dual Bungalow,
or triple Condo, he or she will enjoy a plush bed, complete with
a cookie on his/her pillow at bed time. Housekeeping will
visit your dog’s room daily to
ensure that it is clean and tidy at all times. Nothing
but the best for your best friend!
Please note: the standard boarding package includes the
full day of day care on the day your dog arrives. |

| SMALL DOGS |

Our
small dogs enjoy
their very own wonderland complete with a petite pooch play
gym, in addition to having time every day in our five main
indoor and two outdoor play yards.
Our guests also have the opportunity to rest and restore
themselves before another round of fun during regularly scheduled
rest time, during which he/she will have a comfortable, clean
room to retire to. Absolutely no cages! |

Our smallest guests (15 lbs and under) stay in the Small
Dog Town, a place of Big Fun. Our diminuitive town caters
to the whims and desires of your little one. We have recreated
San Francisco’s famous Painted Ladies and Alamo Square
Park for your petite petunia. Small dogs roam the indoor
and outdoor yards throughout the day in their pint sized
pack, undisturbed by the big guys. |
boarding:
We have re-created San Francisco’s famous Painted
Ladies and Alamo Square Park for your petite pup. The small
dog Victorians are built with filtered water in constantly
replenishing bowls, plenty of light and ventilation,
and music for relaxation. All our small dog Victorian accommodations
include daily housekeeping and overnight
supervision.

a stress-free environment for easy-going pooches. When your
canine companion is not playing with his or her friends or
snoozing in the yards, he/she will have a comfortable, clean
room to retire to. Absolutely no cages! |

Our senior friends enjoy lazing around
the Old Hound Lounge recalling the glory days of the squirrel
that got away. The Old Hound Lounge is fully equipped with
amenities like low-to-the-ground custom counches and extra
heating to warm those old bones. Several times a day, the
senior pack will have time to relax in the sun of our outdoor
yards too. |

| PUPPIES |

day
care & boarding:
The Kindergarten features a spacious, toy-filled romper room
for puppies only. Soft floors provide traction for playtime
and padding for growing bones. Soft music soothes while aromatherapy
stimulates your baby’s immune system.
A caring canine nanny supervises play and learning at all
times. Puppies will be given frequent nap times in their crates,
and will be on a regular housebreaking schedule. A sod potty
helps to reinforce bathroom etiquette. Regular nap times and
a stimulating activity center are designed to help your wee
one develop strong a mind and body.
Puppies will interact throughout the day with their puppy
peers; they will romp and roll and learn to be good canine
citizens. Your little babies will learn all the abc’s
of being a good member of both dog and human family. Extra
training can be added to their day in a customized program
created by behaviorist Alison
Smith that will help you achieve your goals for
them. And proud puppy parents receive a daily progress report
on their little one’s development.
Since puppies will not have all their shots yet, they are
kept separate from the rest of the canine world at Metro Dog.
Once your puppy is 16 weeks old, we can look at graduating
him/her into our regular day care and boarding program.

Metro Dog is fully equipped to board pets with special medical
and/or behavioral needs. In their own soothing, low-stimulus
area, special needs dogs get the attention and the quiet they
need. Contact us about your individual needs and we will customize
a healthy program for your special friend.
